PASS Government School Preparation Programs

AAC has built an excellent reputation in preparing foreign students for entrance into Singapore government Primary and Secondary Schools. Last year alone, we achieved a 99% success rate for our students gaining enrolment into Singapore government schools of their choice. This success rate is due to our philosophy of PASS (Prepare + Apply + Study = Success):

Prepare
Both our Primary and Secondary Government School Preparation Programs are specially designed to develop essential English language skills for young students to prepare them for those all-important entrance exams. Special focus is placed on the following:

» understanding key grammatical structures
» learning and broadening vocabulary
» developing reading confidence and understanding
» encouraging effective creative writing skills

Apply
Our academic year is divided into four terms of three months each. During each term, our students not only learn and develop new skills and knowledge but also apply them. Regular project work on a range of stimulating and exciting topics provides our students with the practice and personal guidance to apply these skills in reading, writing and speaking.

Study
Our reputation is based on our success at enrolling our students into Government schools. Central to this is study time. Students are given regular homework and assessment exercises that mirror the MOE School Curriculum. Mid-term and End-of-Term Examinations are conducted to assess the progress of each student and parents or guardians will receive Progress Reports each term.

Success
